She was in the city to attend the launch of JITO Ladies Connect, which took place at Leela Palace Chennai. The event was also attended by spiritual leader Sadhguru, who is known as the founder of the Isha Foundation.

On the work front, Alia Bhatt is preparing to return to films after a gap of more than a year. She will be seen in the movie Alpha, which is directed by Shiv Rawail. The film is part of the Yash Raj Films Spy Universe and is expected to be its first female led project. It also features Sharvari, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol, and is scheduled to release on July 10.
Apart from acting, she is also working as a producer on a film titled Don’t Be Shy, which she is making with her sister, Shaheen Bhatt.
