Tiger Shroff Reveals His Biggest Fear Behind Action Hero Image

Tiger Shroff reveals his fear of flying and plans for therapy, surprising fans as the action star opens up about anxiety and struggles with control.

Tiger Shroff, who is known for his action packed roles and daring stunts, has shared a personal struggle that many may not expect. The actor recently spoke about his fear of flying, also known as aerophobia, and said he is thinking about taking therapy to deal with it. His statement has caught attention because it is very different from his strong and fearless image seen in films.

In a conversation with Lilly Singh, Tiger explained how this fear started. He said that a bad experience on a flight a few years ago had a strong impact on him. “I’m actually planning to go to a therapist because I have aerophobia. A couple of years ago, I was on a very turbulent flight and… I don’t have control over a turbulent flight, right? What do I do? Ever since then, every time I have to board a flight, I have anxiety a couple of days prior. For some reason, I’m still not able to get over that,” he said.

Tiger further shared that even though he knows flying is considered very safe, it does not help him feel calm during the experience. He said that the main issue is the feeling of not being in control. “The statistics say that flying is the safest means of transport. I have spoken to many pilots who all said that turbulence is nothing but just like bumpy roads. That’s the analogy they keep giving me. But who’s going to tell my mind that? When it happens, it’s a different story altogether. I wish I had control over that. I like controlling every part of my body. I like knowing what I’m doing.”

The actor also spoke about how overthinking affects other parts of his life. He said that even small daily decisions can become difficult at times. “Sometimes it’s really frustrating because I’m so indecisive at times as well, even about how to schedule my day so that I can maximise my potential.”

Tiger Shroff started his career with the film Heropanti in 2014, directed by Sabbir Khan. Since then, he has mostly worked in action films. His popular movies include War, Heropanti 2, Ganapath, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Singham Again and the Baaghi series. These films have helped build his image as an action star known for fitness and stunts.

Despite his on screen confidence, Tiger’s honest sharing about his fear shows a different and more personal side of his life. He was last seen in Baaghi 4.
