Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor recently returned to Mumbai after attending a special event in Los Angeles where he launched the teaser of his upcoming film Ramayana. On Wednesday evening, he was spotted at the Mumbai airport, where paparazzi captured his arrival. In a video shared on social media, Ranbir was seen walking calmly towards his car while smiling, waving, and greeting photographers.
Ranbir looked stylish in a simple yet cool outfit. He wore a black tracksuit along with a matching cap and dark sunglasses. He paired the look with white sports shoes, giving off a relaxed and confident vibe. His casual appearance quickly caught the attention of fans online, with many praising his effortless style.
The actor had travelled to Los Angeles with director Nitesh Tiwari for the teaser launch of Ramayana. During the event, Ranbir shared an interesting story about how he almost did not take up the film. He revealed that when producer Namit first offered him the role about four years ago, his immediate reaction was to refuse it. He felt that he was not fit enough or prepared to play such an important character and was unsure if he could do justice to the role.
However, things changed in his personal life, which also changed his thinking. Ranbir spoke about becoming a father to his daughter Raha and how that moment pushed him to improve himself and adopt a better lifestyle. He said that playing the role of Lord Ram at the same time felt like the right opportunity and a turning point in his life. What started as fear soon became a feeling of gratitude for being part of such a big project.
In the film, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Goddess Sita. Yash will take on the role of Ravana. The movie also features Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman. Other actors like Kajal Aggarwal and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in important roles.
Ramayana Part One is expected to release in theatres during Diwali, while the second part is planned for release in Diwali 2027. Fans are already excited to see this grand retelling on the big screen.
