Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are expecting their second child. The couple shared the news last week, which quickly caught public attention. Since then, many people have been curious to see Deepika after the announcement. On April 28, 2026, the couple was seen at Mumbai airport, leaving for an undisclosed location.
After welcoming their daughter Dua earlier, the couple is now preparing to expand their family. Even though they are expected to take a break later to focus on the pregnancy, they still have some work commitments. This could be the reason why they were travelling early in the morning.
This appearance is important because it is the first time Deepika has been seen in public since announcing her second pregnancy. At the airport, she stepped out of her car and walked towards the entrance. She wore a blue denim outfit, which included loose pants and an oversized jacket. The outfit appeared to be chosen for comfort and also helped cover her baby bump. She paired the look with bright yellow sneakers, which added some color. Her hair was tied in a simple low ponytail, and she kept her look natural with no makeup. She also wore tinted glasses and carried a luxury bag.
Ranveer Singh was seen accompanying her during the outing. He walked to her side of the car and helped her step out. He stayed close to her while they entered the airport, making sure she was comfortable. His outfit was simple, consisting of a white oversized t shirt and blue loose fitting denim pants.
After the pregnancy news, there were reports suggesting that Deepika’s role in her upcoming projects might be reduced or that she could be replaced. However, the makers of the film Raaka, which stars Allu Arjun and is directed by Atlee, addressed these rumours.
While speaking to The Times of India, the team said, “Deepika Padukone plays a crucial role in Raaka, and the shoot is unfolding seamlessly with great energy on set. She will continue to shoot for the film throughout her pregnancy,” the insider stated.
Apart from this project, Deepika is also working on the film King with Shah Rukh Khan
