Netflix Reveals First Look At INK Starring Guy Pearce And Jack O’Connell

Netflix has unveiled the first look at INK starring Guy Pearce, Jack O’Connell and Claire Foy. The film arrives in theaters on December 11, 2026.

Netflix has shared the first look at its upcoming film INK, giving audiences their first glimpse of stars Guy Pearce and Jack O’Connell in the new project. The streaming platform has also announced the movie’s theatrical and streaming release dates.

INK is based on the Tony and Olivier Award winning play of the same name written by James Graham. Graham has adapted his own stage work for the screen, bringing the story from the theatre to a feature film.

The movie has been directed by Academy Award winning filmmaker Danny Boyle, who is known for films including Slumdog Millionaire, Trainspotting and 28 Days Later. The new project also features Claire Foy in an important role alongside Pearce and O’Connell.

The newly released still shows Pearce and O’Connell as their characters, offering viewers an early look at the film’s setting and tone. However, Netflix has not revealed too many details about the full storyline yet.

INK will first arrive in theaters in the United States and Latin America on December 11, 2026. The movie will then be available to stream on Netflix in the same regions from January 8, 2027.

The decision to give the film a theatrical release before its streaming debut means audiences will have an opportunity to watch Boyle’s latest work on the big screen before it reaches Netflix.

The announcement comes at a busy time for Netflix, which has recently revealed several updates about upcoming projects. The streamer recently announced additional casting for its upcoming hockey drama The Sticks. The film has added actors including Scott Bakula, Logan Marshall Green and Alex MacIsaac to its cast.

Netflix also recently confirmed that Grown Ups 3 is in development. The project is expected to bring back Adam Sandler and members of the original cast, along with some new actors.

For INK, the combination of Graham’s award winning stage play, Boyle’s direction and a cast led by Guy Pearce, Jack O’Connell and Claire Foy has already attracted attention.

With the first look now released, more information about the story, characters and promotional material is expected as the December 11, 2026 theatrical release gets closer.
