Bhooth Bangla continued its steady performance at the Indian box office during its fifth week. The horror comedy collected around Rs. 80 lakh on its fifth Tuesday, taking the film’s fifth week total to approximately Rs. 4.90 crore in 5 days.
With current trends, the movie is expected to finish its fifth week with collections between Rs. 5.50 crore and Rs. 6 crore. The film’s overall India nett collection now stands at Rs. 159.60 crore and it is likely to cross the Rs. 160 crore mark by the end of the day.
Starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role, the film has emerged as a successful performer at the box office. Trade estimates currently suggest that the movie may complete its lifetime theatrical run close to Rs. 165 crore nett in India.
The film’s performance has also once again highlighted Akshay Kumar’s consistent presence at the box office. Over the years, the actor has maintained a high number of releases compared to many leading stars in the industry.
