Her latest post comes during ongoing discussions about her marriage with businessman Suraj Nambiar. A few days earlier, Mouni and Suraj officially announced their separation through a joint statement shared on social media.
Soon after, Suraj shared another statement addressing rumours linked to alimony, internal disputes, and third party involvement. He wrote, “Recent baseless reports surrounding our separation have been made in bad taste and are absolutely malicious. Let me set the record straight once and for all. There is no alimony. There are no disputes. There is no third party involved.”
He further added, “Mouni and I chose to part ways together, with mutual respect and with full consideration for each other’s well being. That is the truth. Everything else being reported is fiction, and in some cases, a deliberate attempt to vilify two people who have done nothing but ask to be left alone.”
Suraj also requested media organisations and social media users not to spread unverified stories. He said that both he and Mouni had handled the situation with dignity and wanted privacy while moving forward peacefully.
Rumours about problems in their relationship had started a week earlier after fans noticed that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
