Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s upcoming wedding is already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year, but a surprising new report suggests not everyone from the singer’s inner circle will be there to celebrate. According to reports, actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry have not been invited to Swift and Kelce’s upcoming wedding, despite once being considered among the couple’s closest celebrity friends.
The reported snub has sparked fresh speculation about what may have happened behind the scenes between the longtime friends.
For years, Sperry appeared to be one of Swift’s closest companions. The model and actress even starred in Swift’s 2021 music video for I Bet You Think About Me (Taylor’s Version), directed by Blake Lively. The friendship seemed strong enough that Sperry and Teller regularly appeared at events alongside Swift, including Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024, where they watched Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs secure another championship victory.
That outing would ultimately become their last major public appearance together.
Since then, fans have noticed subtle changes. While Sperry still follows Swift on social media, she has reportedly stopped regularly engaging with the singer’s posts. The only exceptions appear to have been Swift’s announcement that she regained ownership of her master recordings and the news of her engagement to Kelce.
Rumors of distance between the two camps intensified in late 2025 when Teller was asked whether he and his wife would attend Swift and Kelce’s wedding.
Rather than confirming their attendance, the actor offered a notably vague response.
“I don’t know. That is gonna be, I imagine, one impressive wedding,” he said at the time, while adding that he was happy for the couple.
While neither Swift nor Teller has publicly addressed any fallout, fans have continued to speculate about whether their friendship quietly cooled behind closed doors.
The reports come amid increasing attention on Swift’s carefully curated wedding guest list. Sources claim the singer has been extremely selective about invitations, choosing to surround herself with people she believes will remain in her life for years to come.
The wedding has already generated headlines for other rumored omissions.
Blake Lively, once one of Swift’s closest Hollywood friends, is reportedly unlikely to attend after the singer was dragged into Lively’s legal dispute with Justin Baldoni. Meanwhile, longtime friend Karlie Kloss has also reportedly failed to secure an invitation, further fueling discussions about how much Swift’s inner circle has changed over the years.
Interestingly, not all former friends are being left out. Reports suggest actress Zoë Kravitz is still expected to attend despite her friendship with Swift becoming less visible in recent years.
As for Swift and Kelce, the couple appear focused on their future together. Since confirming their relationship, they have become one of entertainment’s most closely watched power couples, blending music, sports and celebrity culture in a way few couples have managed before.
Whether the reported guest list drama is as serious as it seems remains unclear. Neither Swift, Kelce, Teller nor Sperry has publicly commented on the reports.
Until then, fans will continue dissecting every clue surrounding what may become the celebrity wedding of the year.
