Kangana Ranaut has shared her thoughts on what makes certain Bollywood stars truly unforgettable, and her comments are getting a lot of attention online. In a recent interview, the actress spoke about legendary actresses from different generations and explained why she believes some stars can never be replaced. According to Kangana, every era has its own iconic faces, and no matter how much time passes, another version of those stars can never exist.
Speaking to ABP Live, Kangana said people often think actors and actresses come and go, but she believes that is not always true. She pointed out that some performers leave such a strong impact on audiences that their place in cinema remains unique forever. While discussing this idea, she mentioned several legendary actresses including Meena Kumari, Madhubala, Waheeda Rehman, Hema Malini, Karisma Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit.
Kangana explained that each generation is represented by a few special personalities who define that period in cinema. According to her, these stars become the face of their era and cannot be replaced by anyone else. She said there can never be another Meena Kumari, Madhubala or Madhuri Dixit because their charm, talent and influence were unique to their time.

Interestingly, Kangana also included Deepika Padukone in that list. She said just as there can never be another Madhuri Dixit, there can never be another Deepika Padukone either. Her statement surprised many fans and quickly became a talking point on social media. Many people appreciated her for acknowledging the achievements and impact of fellow actresses in the industry.
Kangana further explained that when audiences continue to enjoy an actor’s work even years later, it proves how special they are. She used Madhuri Dixit as an example, saying people still admire and celebrate her performances today. According to Kangana, if these stars were easily replaceable, audiences would only focus on newer faces and forget the older generation. Instead, their popularity continues because they are rare talents who leave a lasting mark on cinema.
Meanwhile, Kangana’s latest film Bharat Bhagyavidhata released in theatres on June 12. The movie tells the inspiring story of nurses and ward boys who played a crucial role during the 26/11 terror attacks and became silent heroes in a difficult time for the nation. Kangana plays a nurse in the film, while Girija Oak, Smita Tambe, Amrutha Namdev, Esha Dey and Priya Berde also appear in important roles.
With her latest comments and new film release, Kangana once again finds herself at the centre of conversation among fans and movie lovers.
