Main Vaapas Aaunga Sees Strong Tuesday Growth At The Box Office

Main Vaapas Aaunga collected an estimated Rs. 1.65 crore on its third Tuesday, taking its total India nett collection to Rs. 46.75 crore.

Imtiaz Ali’s Main Vaapas Aaunga continued to perform steadily at the Indian box office by earning an estimated Rs. 1.65 crore nett on its third Tuesday. The film recorded a 20 per cent increase compared to Monday, showing that it is maintaining a stable run even in its third week.

With Tuesday’s earnings, the film’s third week collection has reached Rs. 14 crore nett, while its total India nett collection now stands at Rs. 46.75 crore. Based on its current performance, the film is expected to finish its third week with around Rs. 17 crore to Rs. 19 crore nett, which would be a steady result for a film in its third week of release.

The film is now expected to cross the Rs. 50 crore mark during its fourth weekend. After that, it will face competition from the upcoming release Alpha. The coming weeks will be important in determining how well Main Vaapas Aaunga continues to perform once new films arrive in theatres.

According to current box office trends, the film has the potential to finish its theatrical run between Rs. 65 crore and Rs. 70 crore nett in India. However, reaching that figure will depend on how well it holds its audience in the face of competition from Alpha and Dhamaal 4, both of which are expected to attract a similar moviegoing audience.

The film stars Diljit Dosanjh, Naseeruddin Shah, Vedang Raina and Sharvari in key roles. While its domestic performance has remained steady, reports suggest that the film has faced limited screen availability in overseas markets. This has affected its international box office performance. Based on the appreciation the film has received, it had the potential to target USD 4 million to USD 5 million overseas. However, under the current circumstances, reaching USD 3 million would still be considered a strong result.

The film’s India nett box office collections are as follows. It earned Rs. 11.50 crore in Week One and Rs. 21.25 crore in Week Two. In Week Three, it collected Rs. 2.65 crore on Friday, Rs. 4.10 crore on Saturday, Rs. 4.25 crore on Sunday, Rs. 1.35 crore on Monday and an estimated Rs. 1.65 crore on Tuesday.

With a total India nett collection of Rs. 46.75 crore, Main Vaapas Aaunga remains on course to cross the Rs. 50 crore milestone as it enters another important phase of its theatrical run.
