Priyanka Chopra celebrated her 44th birthday on July 18, and the celebrations continued the following day when her husband, Nick Jonas, shared a heartfelt post on social media. The singer posted a short video that appeared to be from the couple’s yacht holiday in Spain, giving fans a glimpse of Priyanka enjoying some quiet time away from her busy work schedule.
The video began with a scenic view of the sea before the camera turned toward Priyanka. She was seen smiling as she relaxed on the yacht, dressed in a bikini with a cover up, sunglasses and a bandanna. As Nick recorded the moment, Priyanka smiled at the camera and blew him a kiss. Keeping his message simple, Nick wrote, “¡Feliz cumpleaños! Mi amor,” which translates to “Happy birthday, my love.” He also added a heart emoji and used Café de Granada – Acoustic Flamenco Guitar by Navrexo as the background music for the video.
The birthday post came shortly after new stills from Priyanka’s upcoming Telugu film Varanasi were released on her birthday. The pictures gave fans their first look at her character, Mandakini, marking her return to Indian cinema after several years. The images quickly attracted attention online as fans looked forward to seeing her in the new role.
Nick and Priyanka have often shared important moments from their personal lives on social media. Over the years, they have posted pictures and videos from family celebrations, anniversaries and holidays. They have also occasionally shared glimpses of life with their daughter, Malti Marie, while continuing to keep much of their family life private.
The couple recently spoke about how their relationship began during Priyanka’s appearance on the Jonas Brothers’ podcast. Nick revealed that his brother Kevin Jonas introduced him to Priyanka’s television series Quantico, which encouraged him to contact her. His first message read, “Hello. I’ve heard from a few people that we should meet. I have to agree with these people. Are you in LA anytime soon?” Priyanka replied, “Hey. Graham’s told me so much about you. Let’s text. More private. My team can access this.” As Joe and Kevin Jonas read the old messages during the podcast, both Nick and Priyanka laughed and appeared slightly embarrassed.
Nick first reached out to Priyanka in 2016, and the two met in person at the Vanity Fair Oscars after party the following year. They later attended the Met Gala together before getting engaged in 2018. The couple married later that year in Udaipur and welcomed their daughter, Malti Marie, through surrogacy in 2022.
On the professional front, Priyanka is preparing for her return to Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Priyanka plays Mandakini, and the film is scheduled to release in April 2027.
