Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal has spoken about the viral video in which he was seen protecting Shehnaaz Gill from a crowd during his birthday celebration. The clip quickly spread across social media and once again sparked dating rumours between the two. Fans have linked Raghav and Shehnaaz ever since they worked together in Salman Khan’s Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, but neither of them has confirmed being in a relationship.
During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Raghav explained that his actions had nothing to do with rumours and were simply a reflection of the values he was raised with. Talking about the incident, he said, “My parents raised me to be a man. If you had been there with me, or any woman, and a group of men had pounced on her, I was brought up to throw a solid punch if needed. That’s how I’ve been raised. I can’t be that detached, urban guy who just stands by. I couldn’t do it. I will protect till my death, my friends, my family, and any woman I’m with. Whether it’s you or any other woman, that’s simply my nature.”

Raghav also shared his thoughts on masculinity. He said that just as there is sacred feminine energy, he believes there is also sacred masculinity, and both should exist in balance. Explaining his point, he said, “My dance, my art, and my fluidity reflect the sacred feminine. But when the situation demands it, the values my parents instilled in me, to protect, to stand by my sister, my friends, and to respect women, come to the fore.”
The actor added that he never thinks about how his actions might affect his public image in such situations. According to him, if he sees a woman being harassed, he feels it is his responsibility to step in and help. Speaking about this, he said, “If something like that happens, I know how to handle it, and I have no inhibitions about stepping in. In those moments, I don’t think about my star image or any public image.”
Shehnaaz Gill also addressed the ongoing dating rumours during a recent interaction with the same portal. While she chose not to speak about her personal life, she made it clear that Raghav is a close friend and requested fans to support his upcoming film Bhai Tera Star Hai. Responding to questions about the rumours, she said, “No personal questions, please.” She further added, “Mere dost ki film aa rahi hai, Bhai Tera Star Hai, aap please usko support karo. Woh mera boht acha dost hai, uski film chalni boht zaroori hai.”
Although the rumours continue to make headlines, both Raghav and Shehnaaz have avoided confirming any romantic relationship. Their recent statements instead highlight their friendship, while the viral birthday video continues to fuel speculation among fans.
