Kylie Jenner has unveiled a new footwear collaboration between her fashion brand Khy and Italian footwear label Gia Borghini. The reality star introduced the collection through a new campaign on Instagram, where she modeled the heels in a bold and striking look.
For the campaign, Jenner appeared without an outfit, using her long black hair extensions to cover parts of her body. The focus of the images remained on the new footwear collection, which includes eye catching heels designed in collaboration with Gia Borghini.
Fans who closely follow Jenner’s fashion choices may recognize one of the designs from an earlier appearance. Jenner previously wore the silver strappy heels from the collection while attending Game 4 of the Knicks NBA Finals at Madison Square Garden in June.
Sharing details about the collaboration on Instagram, Jenner explained why working with Gia Borghini was important to her. “i’ve worn @giaborghini for years, so this one felt right 🤍 i got to create my dream footwear for @khy, handmade in italy,” she captioned the pictures.
She also spoke about the work that went into creating the designs. “i reworked every detail over and over until they felt just right and completely effortless,” she added.
The new footwear collection is scheduled to be available on Khy.com on Aug. 21. The collaboration marks another addition to Jenner’s growing fashion business, which has continued to expand through partnerships and new product launches.
Jenner, who celebrated her 29th birthday last week, has had a busy period with several projects across fashion and beauty. She recently introduced a new fragrance collection under Kylie Cosmetics and also worked with Meta on a project involving smart glasses.
Last month, Jenner also launched her second Khy collaboration with Frankies Bikinis. The collection featured bikinis and one piece swimsuits with metallic finishes and animal print designs.
The latest Gia Borghini collaboration adds footwear to the recent series of launches connected to Khy. While Jenner has become known for her personal fashion choices, the new campaign also highlights her involvement in developing products for her fashion brand.
The Gia Borghini collection will be released on Aug. 21, giving customers the opportunity to see the footwear designs Jenner helped develop for Khy.
