KBS has released a new teaser for its upcoming romance drama A Love Other Than Yours, giving viewers a closer look at a relationship that begins to change after 10 years together. The drama focuses on the realistic side of love and explores what happens when a couple who have been together for a long time start feeling emotions they never expected.
The teaser introduces Lee Mi Do, played by Ahn Eun Jin, and Namgoong Ho, played by Seo Kang Jun, as a couple who have spent 10 years together. Their relationship appears comfortable and familiar, but the excitement they once shared seems to have faded.
At one point, Lee Mi Do asks Namgoong Ho, “Your heart no longer flutters when you look at me, does it?” Looking back at their happier moments, Namgoong Ho responds, “Mi Do, we’ve dated for 10 years. How can things be passionate forever?”
Their relationship becomes more complicated when both begin developing feelings for other people. Namgoong Ho finds himself attracted to his junior colleague Park Soo Ah, played by Jo Aram. At the same time, Lee Mi Do becomes interested in lawyer Han Tae Seung, played by Lee Joo Ahn.
The changes do not go unnoticed. Lee Mi Do directly asks Namgoong Ho about Park Soo Ah and later tells him, “You know that Park Soo Ah likes you.” Han Tae Seung also adds to the tension when he asks Namgoong Ho, “Exactly how much do you know?”
As the four characters become connected, the once stable relationship between Lee Mi Do and Namgoong Ho begins facing serious questions. However, Lee Mi Do makes it clear that she still wants to rebuild the connection they once had.
She tells Namgoong Ho, “I want my heart to flutter because of you again, and I want your heart to flutter because of me again, too.”
A Love Other Than Yours will premiere on September 12 at 9:20 p.m. KST, with Seo Kang Jun, Ahn Eun Jin, Jo Aram and Lee Joo Ahn leading the cast.
