Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh is turning out to be a huge success at the box office. After an outstanding opening, the film continues to perform strongly on its second day as well. It is clear that the audience excitement is not slowing down at all.
The film is directed by Aditya Dhar and has managed to stay strong despite facing several delays and cancellations during its early shows. According to trade reports, the film collected around Rs 97 crore by 10 pm on its second day and is expected to cross Rs 100 crore again. With this, the total collection of the film has reached nearly Rs 286.98 crore gross, while the net collection stands at around Rs 242.46 crore. Final numbers are still awaited, but the film is clearly heading towards another big record.
On its first day, Dhurandhar 2 had already made a huge impact by earning Rs 102.55 crore. This is almost four times higher than the opening of its earlier part, Dhurandhar, which had collected Rs 27 crore when it was released in December 2025.
The Hindi version of the film played a major role in its success, contributing more than Rs 99 crore on the first day. Other language versions like Kannada and Malayalam earned smaller amounts due to technical issues and limited availability of shows.
Even before its official release, the film had created strong buzz. Paid preview shows held earlier brought in Rs 43 crore from over twelve thousand shows, which is a very impressive number. However, these shows also faced some cancellations and delays.
Director Aditya Dhar shared a message with fans, saying that the film is very special to the entire team. He explained that they had worked hard on it and wanted audiences to enjoy it together across all languages. He also informed viewers about the timing of shows, mentioning that some versions were delayed due to technical problems.
Despite these challenges, the audience response has been extremely positive. The film has even performed better than big hits like Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan in terms of opening day collections.
With such a strong start and continued growth, Dhurandhar 2 is clearly on its way to becoming one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times.
