Mom-to-be Deepika Padukone dazzled at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet on Friday at NMACC in Mumbai. She wore a stunning purple saree that accentuated her baby bump, accessorized with golden jewelry, and styled her hair in a sleek bun.
Deepika shared her look on Instagram with the caption, “Just…coz it’s a Friday night & wants to party!!!” Her husband, Ranveer Singh, couldn’t contain his excitement, commenting, “Hayyyye! my beautiful birthday gift! I love you.”
The couple announced their pregnancy in March and are expecting their baby in September. They have been married since 2018.
Deepika recently made headlines at the pre-release event of Nag Ashwin’s film, Kalki 2898 AD, in Mumbai. She stole the show in a striking black dress, alongside her co-stars Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan, who also wore black. Ranveer Singh shared his admiration for the film and its performances on social media, praising Deepika’s portrayal as “beyond compare” and the “best in Indian cinema.”

The much-anticipated wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant is scheduled for July 12 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai. This will be followed by Shubh Aashirwad on Saturday, July 13, and concluding with the Mangal Utsav or wedding reception on Sunday, July 14. The dress code for the ceremonies is traditional Indian attire, befitting the grandeur of the events.
