Being known for honoring her Indian heritage, Priyanka spent the day fasting like most married women. What made it even sweeter was a visit from Nick Jonas, who was able to find time out from his busy Jonas Brothers tour to spend with his wife.
She posted a few photos on Instagram, sharing the gorgeous moments. Priyanka posted a set of photographs that revealed to fans the private celebration. The first was a picture of her beaming happily alongside Nick, looking radiant. She was lovely in her traditional outfit, happily showcasing her henna-covered hands and red bangles in the subsequent photographs.
One of the most endearing moments that were caught in the post was of their daughter Malti Marie, intently practicing writing her name on paper—a sweet familial touch to the celebratory event. Even with his busy schedule, Nick made sure he had good time with both Priyanka and Malti, making the day all the more special.
In her post, Priyanka disclosed that Nick’s surprise visit was entirely unexpected and remarkably touching. To make the celebrations even warmer, her mother-in-law had arranged and sent her the traditional sargi, and her mother had organized a meal from her favorite restaurant to assist her in breaking her fast.
