Raj Kundra took to Instagram on Tuesday to share glimpses of his Diwali celebrations with wife Shilpa Shetty. The businessman-turned-actor posted a series of festive photos, in which he was seen posing with Shilpa, who stunned in a vibrant red saree. Raj complemented her look in a bright yellow kurta.
Captioning the post, Raj wrote, “When tradition meets trend… sparks fly! She’s the fire, I’m the sunshine. @theshilpashetty Wishing you all a stylish & sparkling Diwali! #CoupleGoals #FestiveVibes #Diwali2025.” Shilpa also reshared the image in her Instagram stories, humorously noting, “You are the haldi to my kumkum.”
Earlier, on Monday, Shilpa had shared a family photo taken in front of their home temple, sending warm Diwali wishes to her followers. “Happy Diwali from our family to you all,” she wrote.
However, the festive cheer comes amid ongoing legal trouble. The couple has been in the headlines due to a ₹60 crore fraud case. In August 2025, the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) booked Raj and Shilpa for allegedly cheating businessman Deepak Kothari in a loan-cum-investment deal involving their now-defunct company, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. Kothari claimed he invested over ₹60 crore between 2015 and 2023, which he alleges was misused for personal gains.

Their lawyer, Prashant Patil, has strongly denied the allegations, calling the case “baseless and malicious.” He clarified that the issue is civil in nature and has already been addressed by the NCLT Mumbai, which issued a liquidation order in October 2024. Patil emphasized that their auditors have provided all relevant documents to EOW and that steps are being taken to counter the allegations legally.
