Factory-Made Faces! Saiyami Kher Takes a Dig at Celebrities Opting for Cosmetic Surgery

Actress Saiyami Kher, who recently starred in the movie Jaat alongside Sunny Deol, has openly talked about the pressure that actors are under in the glamour world when it comes to physical looks. In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Saiyami opened up that she was also told to get cosmetic surgery but refused to do so.

“We Shouldn’t Change Ourselves for the World”
When questioned if cosmetic surgery is a need in the world of entertainment, Saiyami replied intelligently:
“If someone really feels uncomfortable with what they look like and wants to change something, then they should. But doing it because the world wants you to is not the right reason.”

Saiyami revealed that she was informed that her lips weren’t full enough and was asked to undergo lip fillers and a nose job. But she refused to give in to it and accepted her natural look. “I like my lips the way they are,” she mentioned.

“Everyone Is Starting to Look the Same”
Saiyami was apprehensive about the growing sameness in celebrity looks.
“Too much competition to be beautiful has made everyone look similar like mass-produced faces. To be beautiful means to be different,” she added. She further asserted that the industry needed to pay less attention to physical perfection and more to talent and performance.
