Ganesh Chaturthi 2025 started off on a grand and pious note at Arpita Khan Sharma’s home in Mumbai, where the whole Khan family gathered to welcome Lord Ganesha. Superstar Salman Khan, along with his parents Salim Khan and Salma Khan, started off the Ganesh aarti with utmost respect.
Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Alvira Agnihotri, Atul Agnihotri, and Alizeh Agnihotri were among the guests present at the celebration. Family and close friends Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza also made an appearance to celebrate the special occasion.

Standing next to him, Salim Khan in a denim top, white pants, and a black hat assisted Salma Khan, who was elegant in an off-white floral kurta ensemble carrying the aarti thali.
The puja area was beautifully decorated with flowers, radiating festive energy as chants and prayers filled the home. The family’s display of faith and unity resonated with fans, who praised the Khans’ devotion after glimpses of the celebrations went viral online.
Salman Khan’s Upcoming Film: Battle of Galwan
Professional wise, Salman Khan has started filming his highly discussed film Battle of Galwan in Ladakh. Helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, the movie is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley face-off between Indian and Chinese soldiers. Salman will be essaying the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the valiant officer who commanded his men during the encounter.
The movie also features Chitrangda Singh, Zeyn Shaw, Ankur Bhatia, and Harshil Shah. Salman was last seen in Sikandar and is working on several projects simultaneously, including coming back as host of Bigg Boss, which opened its new season on August 24.
