Reports suggest that producer Sajid Nadiadwala has halted the production of Ahan Shetty’s upcoming film, Sanki, due to the actor’s exorbitant entourage costs. Despite promising his friend Suniel Shetty a second chance for his son’s career, Sajid is reconsidering the project’s viability amid current market conditions and Ahan’s hefty staff expenses.
According to sources, Ahan’s entourage costs, including hair, makeup, spot, stylist, driver, chef, and trainer, were billed to the production, leading Sajid to question the project’s financial sense. Suniel Shetty had to intervene, offering to help with costs, to prevent the project’s cancellation.
Sanki, starring Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde, was intended to revive Ahan’s career after his debut film, Tadap, failed to impress at the box office. However, with the current market conditions and Ahan’s high entourage costs, Sajid Nadiadwala is reassessing the project’s potential, putting its future on hold.
