Arjun Rampal shares emotional behind-the-scenes moments as Aditya Dhar’s Dhurandhar earns massive audience praise and dominates the box office.

Aditya Dhar’s high-octane action thriller Dhurandhar is getting an overwhelming response from the audience ever since its release on December 5. With a powerhouse ensemble cast that includes Ranveer Singh, R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Arjun Rampal, among others, it definitely has emerged as one of the talked-about releases in recent times. Riding high on the success, Arjun Rampal took to social media and thrilled fans as he shared a set of behind-the-scene photos from the sets along with an emotional note of gratitude.

Taking to Instagram, Arjun thanked fans for accepting the film with so much love. In his note, he credited the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, saying that the filmmaker had put in “unparalleled passion, research, and imagination” while creating the story. He remembered being “tear-eyed” the day Dhar narrated the script to him and went on to appreciate how calmly and with commitment the director takes the pressure on the sets. Rampal fondly called Dhar his “Boiya,” reflecting the bond the two share.

The actor also celebrated his co-stars. He hailed Akshaye Khanna as owning his role and delivering a formidable performance, spoke about R. Madhavan’s brilliance, and said he loved Sanjay Dutt. Arjun fondly spoke of working with Rakesh Bedi and congratulated his co-star Sara Arjun. As for Ranveer Singh, who leads the film as Hamza Ali Mazari, he called the experience of watching Ranveer’s intense preparation and fearlessness “a beautiful journey.” His note ended with heartfelt thanks to the film’s production team and a warm welcome to fans who embraced the growing cult following the film had garnered.

Dhurandhar has drawn critical acclaim for its engaging storyline, thrilling action, and stellar acting by the lead actors, especially Akshaye Khanna as Rehman Dakait, a dreaded Pakistani crime lord with strong political connections. With his entry to the viral Bahrain rap number “FA9LA,” he has taken social media by storm, and the makers have released the clip on X.

The spy thriller involves Hamza, who infiltrates Rehman’s lethal network while working for Indian intelligence on the sly. His marriage to Yalina, daughter of politician Jameel Jamali, creates a thrilling emotional interplay in the strong plot inspired by real events, including Operation Lyari. With a mammoth budget of ₹275 crore and a runtime of 214 minutes, Dhurandhar has already surged past the lifetime domestic earnings of Salman Khan’s Sikandar. As per several analysts, the film might cross ₹150 crore in India and ₹250 crore worldwide soon. The second part is slated to hit theaters on March 19, 2026, and promises to keep the adrenaline-fueled saga going.
