The upcoming film Pati Patni Aur Woh Do will bring Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan together on screen for the first time. The film also features Wamiqa Gabbi and Rakul Preet Singh in key roles. Recently, the makers shared the first look poster of the film, giving viewers an idea about the tone of the story.
Along with the poster, the makers wrote, “Shikari khud hogaya shikaar! Ab Jaal mein phas gaye humare PRAJAPATI PANDEY. Ho jao #PatiPatniAurWohDo ke liye taiyaar! In cinemas 15th May 2026!” The poster shows Ayushmann Khurrana’s character, Prajapati Pandey, sitting in a net. Three women are holding the net from above, suggesting that his character is caught in a complicated situation. He is also shown sitting next to a cheetah, which adds a slightly unusual and humorous element to the image.
The film is a sequel to Pati Patni Aur Woh. The earlier film featured Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar, and Ananya Panday. The new film continues the theme but introduces a different cast and storyline.
Earlier, the makers had planned to release the film on March 4, 2026, during Holi. However, the release date has now been changed. The film is currently scheduled to release in theatres on May 15, 2026.
The project is directed by Mudassar Aziz, who also directed the previous film in the series. The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar under T Series, along with Renu Ravi Chopra from B R Studios. Creative production is handled by Juno Chopra.
The poster and announcement suggest that the film will focus on a mix of comedy and complicated relationships, continuing the theme of the earlier movie while presenting a new storyline.
