Though Ayushmann Khurrana signed on HAMARA BAJAJ, yet another production venture by John Abraham, much before his debut film VICKY DONOR had hit the cinema screens, he’ll start working on Rohan Sippy’s next, which he bagged lately, first.
Says Ayushmann, “Soojit Sircar’s HAMARA BAJAJ will happen in January, while Rohan Sippy’s film goes on floors from 15th July.”

While VICKY DONOR was Ayushmann’s solo lead film, Rohan Sippy’s project is a two-hero movie. Besides Ayushmann, the film also stars DELHI BELLY fame Kunal Roy Kapoor. Ask Ayushmann how it feels to share screen space with another actor and he replies, “VICKY DONOR was successful not just because of me. The co-stars made the film. The co-stars of VICKY DONOR were simply awesome and great. Annu Kapoorji was no less…you cannot deny the fact that he was the parallel lead in the film. Likewise, I think Kunal will also be a cool co-star. There should not be a sense of competition between co-stars.”
The leading lady of the film is not yet finalized however Ayushmann hints that the film may have a fresh face. “The leading lady is yet to be finalized. Probably, it would be a newcomer.”

Presented by T-series and Ramesh Sippy Entertainment Pvt Ltd., Rohan’s untitled film is a buddy-comedy and Ayushmann plays a Mumbai guy. “It’s an unusual, funky, massy film. I play a Mumbai guy,” says Ayushmann.
Probe Ayushmann about the preparation for his role and his look in the film and he says, “No, I am again the same. I am not sculpting my body since the film is in realistic space.”
Interestingly, Abhishek Bachchan will be appearing in the film in a cameo. The film marks Bhushan Kumar and Ramesh Sippy’s first joint venture as co-producers.
