The much-awaited “Ami Je Tomar 3.0” song is finally out from Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, sending fans into a frenzy. Why? Because this potent cover version of the yesteryear number, sung by Shreya Ghoshal, shows them the promised cinematic face-off in dance between Madhuri Dixit and Vidya Balan. Both Vidya and Madhuri groove to a mesmerizing blend of Kathak-Bharatnatyam, choreographed by eminent Chinni Prakash. The scene has turned out to be iconic in no time, as it’s a rare pairing of two of the most accomplished performers of Bollywood, celebrating classical Indian dance in a modern horror-comedy setting.
The song is a remake of Vidya Balan’s enchanting song performance in the original Bhool Bhulaiyaa, with the addition of grace and depth by Madhuri to it, creating that moment, which has gone on to be believed by fans as “a must-watch on the big screen.” The elegance, precision, and seamless collaboration of their dance styles have left audiences in awe and are making fans say on social media sites that they “can’t wait to watch this scene in theaters.”
