For years actresses enticed us with their kaatil adayein whenever they performed 'Mujra' on-screen. We have seen some extremely brilliant 'Mujra' performances by actresses like Meena Kumari, Rekha, Madhuri Dixit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
And if you thought Kareena Kapoor would carry the baton or recreate the same magic (much like her seniors) as she is doing a Mujra act in AGENT VINOD, then one may be left a little disappointed.
The Mujra song teaser from AGENT VINOD, which is out, seemingly lags the essence of Mujra and depicts more of Kareena's oomph factor.
Though it was highly anticipated that Kareena being a great performer will beautifully portray the essence of Mujra in the film, it does not comes out as magnificently as expected.
Saif Ali Khan, the lead actor of the film, even mentioned that from long time viewers haven't seen a Mujra happening on-screen, so his AGENT VINOD would reinstate the classical art.
Right from her entry to her moves to gestures, Kareena's Mujra lagged the luster. Her pink Sharara and loosely tied hair also did not look impressive. The nazakat and adayein, (which is being highlighted in the video) a prerequisite for a Mujra, is also missing from the song.
