Ahaan Panday’s debut film Saiyaara is making waves, quickly becoming a nationwide sensation. Ed Sheeran’s Blessing for Ahaan
In a surprising and heartwarming twist, global pop star Ed Sheeran played a small but special role in Ahaan’s journey. During Sheeran’s 2024 India visit, Ahaan met the singer and had his guitar signed by him. Sharing the moment on social media, Ahaan wrote, “Been prepping on this guitar for my debut film and now I have it bless-Ed by none other than @teddysphotos.”
Ahaan also called the meeting a “dream come true,” saying, “For my film preparation, I’ve been running all over trying to learn from musicians. Getting to meet the best of the best is truly a blessing.”

Overnight Stars and a Romantic Hit
Starring alongside Aneet Padda as Vaani Batra, Ahaan’s chemistry with his co-star has struck a chord with fans. Saiyaara tells the story of Krish, a passionate musician, and Vaani, a determined journalist, as they navigate love, ambition, and personal challenges.

The film released on July 18 and has already crossed the ₹100 crore mark within four days. It opened to an impressive ₹25 crore, surpassing the debut day collections of recent hits like Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (₹11.1 crore) and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar (₹15.73 crore). It also beat Mohit Suri’s own record, overtaking Ek Villain’s ₹16.70 crore opening.
With strong reviews and unstoppable momentum, Saiyaara is proving to be one of the biggest romantic blockbusters of the year.
