Khushi Kapoor made her fashion industry debut by walking in Gaurav Gupta’s collection at India Couture Week 2024. She shared the ramp with her rumored boyfriend Vedang Raina. After the event, Khushi spoke to the media about her experience and the advice she received from her elder sister, Janhvi Kapoor.
Several clips of Khushi’s debut on the runway went viral online, and she posted behind-the-scenes glimpses from the event on her Instagram stories. Khushi shared with ANI that Janhvi advised her to “be calm, be present, and listen to the music,” and encouraged her to be herself before walking the runway.
Khushi expressed to PTI that walking with Vedang, someone she was comfortable with, made the experience less stressful and enjoyable. Vedang also expressed his excitement about working with Khushi again after their project “The Archies,” mentioning their mutual comfort on set and in their companionship.
On the professional front, Khushi is working on a romantic comedy titled “Naadaniyaan” with Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan. The movie is directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar. Vedang Raina is set to appear in Vasan Bala’s “Jigra,” which features Alia Bhatt in the lead role.

Meanwhile Gaurav Gupta unveiled his latest collection, Arunodaya, at Hyundai India Couture Week on July 29, 2024, in collaboration with Reliance Brands Limited and the FDCI initiative. Khushi Kapoor and Vedang Raina stole the spotlight as showstoppers, captivating the audience with their striking ensembles and undeniable chemistry.
Khushi dazzled in a svelte nutty ivory dress adorned with statement silver embroidery and a mermaid-cut hemline. Her outfit featured a sequined bustier, sheer embroidered sleeves, and a delicate train, exuding elegance. Vedang complemented her regal look in a partially-sequined all-black bandhgala. The two met on the runway, exchanged a telling glance, and broke into smiles before posing together. They then proceeded to walk separately to either end of the runway, continuing the show.
Khushi and Vedang, both part of Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film “The Archies,” have been rumored to be romantically involved. They have made numerous public appearances together during the film’s promotions and other events, including the wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Despite the speculation, neither has confirmed their relationship status.
