The new releases of the week, KAALAKAANDI, MUKKABAAZ and 1921, have all failed to create much of a ripple at the box office.
Comparatively it is Saif Ali Khan’s KAALAKAANDI which has fared the best netting nearly 1.75 crore followed by MUKKABAZ and 1921, both below a crore. All the newbies face a tough battle at the ticket window.
Meanwhile, YRF’s Ali Abbas Zafar directed Salman-Katrina starrer, TIGER ZINDA HAI, continues to appeal to the audience and has now crossed BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN’s 323 crore (on Friday), thus becoming Salman’s biggest netter.
The film, already a blockbuster, is also on a dream run in the overseas, as it approaches the $20m mark.
