Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s Retro Looks from Love And War Will Leave You Screaming

Love And War: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Looks Are Turning Heads!

Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal are currently immersed in the filming of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-anticipated project, Love And War. While fans eagerly await the film’s release, their excitement grew even further when new behind-the-scenes photos of Alia and Ranbir went viral across social media. The actors were seen in striking retro-inspired looks that instantly captivated fans.

The photos, shared by IIFA on Instagram, feature Alia and Ranbir rehearsing intense scenes under the direction of Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Alia’s charming retro avatar drew special attention, with many fans comparing the duo’s visual appeal to classic Bollywood pairings. One user commented, “Major Raj Kapoor–Sharmila Tagore vibes,” while another expressed, “So excited to see the magic of Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”

Though initially slated for an Eid 2026 release, reports now suggest the film may be delayed. According to Bollywood Hungama, Love And War is “running behind schedule,” prompting Bhansali to reportedly ask Alia, Ranbir, and Vicky to keep their calendars open until summer 2026. An insider claimed the film is about “40 days behind,” with June 2026 being the earliest possible release window. An official announcement from Bhansali and Ranbir is expected soon.

Bhansali is said to have completed the Mumbai shooting schedule and is preparing to move to Italy for the film’s final phase. As reported by Filmfare, Bhansali recreated 1970s Italy in Mumbai for earlier sequences, and the last 20-day schedule—featuring the film’s grand climax—is expected to take place in December 2025 in Italy.
