Deepika Padukone exited her car wearing a stylish ensemble consisting of a white T-shirt under a black blazer, cropped blue denims, glasses, a bag, and white sneakers. She greeted the photographers with a smile, mouthed “thank you,” and briefly posed before heading into the theatre.
Ranveer Singh also interacted with the fans and paparazzi outside the theatre. Dressed entirely in black, he wore a T-shirt, cape, pants, shoes, cap, and sunglasses. He was seen making way for his mother Anju Bhavnani and sister Ritika Bhavnani, who joined him at the event.
After watching the film, Ranveer shared his thoughts on Instagram Stories, praising the movie as a “grand cinematic spectacle” and a highlight of Indian cinema. He congratulated director Nag Ashwin and mentioned the performances of stars like Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, and Amitabh Bachchan. He also complimented Deepika’s performance, expressing his admiration for her.
“Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin, is a 3D sci-fi film with a reported budget of ₹600 crore. The movie, a fusion of the Hindu epic Mahabharata and science fiction, features Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, Saswata Chatterjee, and Shobhana. It was released globally on June 27 in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, and English.
Upcoming projects for Deepika and Ranveer include “Singham Again,” set to release on November 1. The film, directed by Rohit Shetty, features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, and Jackie Shroff. Ranveer Singh will also headline “Don 3,” directed by Farhan Akhtar.
