Veteran actor Neena Gupta recently shared a heartwarming moment with her granddaughter on Instagram, marking her first photo with the baby. Neena’s daughter, fashion designer Masaba Gupta, and husband, actor Satyadeep Misra, recently welcomed their baby girl. In the photo, Neena is seen cradling the baby, whose face is not revealed, only showing the little one wrapped in a blanket wearing a blue and white cap. Neena, dressed in a white outfit and sunglasses, captioned the post, “Meri beti ki beti – Rab rakha” (My daughter’s daughter God bless).
Celebrities like Bhumi Pednekar, Dia Mirza, Konkona Sensharma, and Mrunal Thakur showered the post with love and congratulations. Rakul Singh, Tisca Chopra, and Nimrat Kaur also extended their best wishes in the comments. Mrunal Thakur wrote, “Awwwww congratulations.” Rakul Singh said, “Congratulationssssssss, god bless the baby girl.” Tisca Chopra commented, “Congratulations Neena Ji.” Nimrat Kaur’s comment read, “Congratulations Neena Ma’am lots and lots of love and kisses.”
Masaba and Satyadeep had earlier announced their baby girl’s arrival with a joint Instagram post, sharing a sweet monochrome image of the baby’s feet, as well as a symbolic picture featuring a white lotus and a moon, with the birth date October 11, 2024 included in the message.
Masaba had initially announced her pregnancy in April with a joyful post on Instagram, writing, “Two little feet are on their way to us!”, alongside a couple of celebratory images.
Masaba and Satyadeep got married in January 2023. They both appeared together on the Netflix series Masaba Masaba, which is based on Masaba’s life. Both Masaba and Satyadeep have had previous marriages Masaba was married to producer Madhu Mantena, and Satyadeep was earlier married to actress Aditi Rao Hydari.
