Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble pictures clarifies about thier upcoming project!

Purple Pebble Picture speaks about their new project

Bengali actor Saheb Chatterjee is all set to play Rabindranath Tagore in National Award winning director Ujjwal Chatterjee’s NALINI. The trilingual feature film will be produced by actress Priyanka Chopra.

The Hindi-English-Bengali period film will depict the great poet’s romance with Annapurna. While Marathi actress Vaidehi Parshurami will be seen as Nailini, veteran actors Soumitra Chatterjee and Victor Banerjee will be seen in important roles. Artistes Madhav Abhyankar, Seema Deshmukh, Sukhada Khandkekar and Angad Mhaskar will also be essaying distinguished roles in the film.

It is said that the film will be trilingual and will also be released in English.

Priyanka Chopra’s Production house Purple Pebble Pictures, clarified saying, “In light of the recent media reports, we wish to clarify the details of Purple Pebble Pictures’ discussions with Ujjawal Chatterjee’s project NALINI.

While the discussions have progressed on the Bangla and Marathi versions of this proposed trilingual, there has been no confirmation of any kind from our end with regards to Ujjawal Chatterjee's English version, especially with respect to the star cast.”
