Dark Side Unleashed! Ranbir Kapoor’s Intense Look in Viral Animal Park Poster Will Give You Chills

Since the blockbuster hit of Animal, fans have been waiting with bated breath for news about its sequel. Although the official release of Animal Park is a couple of years away, a fan-made AI-generated poster of Ranbir Kapoor has gone viral on social media, generating buzz among audiences once again.

The poster frames Ranbir in an intense avatar, standing amidst what seems to be a butcher shop. Clad in a blood-stained white vest, the actor holds a knife and glares directly at the camera, oozing menace. Visible tattoos on his arms give the look an additional gritty, raw feel. The tagline of the poster says: “Animal Park: Hunt or Be Hunted,” nailing the tone for the darker theme of the sequel perfectly.

Animal, which was released in December 2023, featured Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna in pivotal roles. The movie traced Vijay (Ranbir), a complicated anti-hero caught up in a dysfunctional relationship with his emotionally unavailable father, Anil Kapoor. Vijay’s outrageous acts of violence—such as a jaw-dropping scene where he kills 200 people with a machine gun elicited both amazement and outrage. While others declared the movie toxic and misogynistic, it was certainly a commercial success, raking in over ₹900 crore worldwide.

In December 2024, Ranbir Kapoor confirmed at the Red Sea Film Festival that Animal Park is being made. “We should begin that film in 2027,” he divulged, also stating that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga wants the franchise to be a trilogy. “I get to play the hero and villain,” Ranbir teased, saying it’s one of the most thrilling projects he has worked on.

With the script still in development, Animal Park is set to be a gripping and ambitious sequel to its explosive first installment.
