Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play one of the most iconic roles of his career—Lord Ram—in Nitesh Tiwari’s much-anticipated epic, Ramayana. As the film gears up for a massive release, it has now been revealed that the actor has made significant lifestyle changes to prepare for the role both mentally and physically.
Quits Alcohol, Turns Vegetarian for Spiritual Discipline
As per a recent update posted by famous paparazzo Viral Bhayani, Ranbir Kapoor has given up alcohol and follows an austere vegetarian sattvic diet as a part of his makeover for playing Lord Ram. He has also reportedly taken to pre-dawn exercise sessions and meditation every day with the aim of bringing his lifestyle in tune with the character’s purity and austerity.
A source close to the actor said, “Ranbir wants to capture the devotional spirit of Lord Ram. His interest in clean living stems from his desire to play the character with honesty and respect.”
Already Adopting Lifestyle Transformations for Family
Ranbir had earlier talked about giving up smoking and drinking after the arrival of his daughter, Raha. “I have changed a lot of my lifestyle. I’ve quit smoking and drinking. I want to be healthy for my child and myself,” he mentioned in an earlier interview.
