The first song from Remo D’souza’s flick ABCD 2, ‘Bezubaan Phir Se’, a reworked version of ‘Bezubaan’ from the first part ABCD (ANY BODY CAN DANCE), is out. And it was Remo’s idea to use the original track in the second installment.

Remo reveals, “Firstly it’s my favaourite track from the film. There was a situation in the film wherein we needed a ‘Bezubaan’ kind of a song, so I came up with the idea why not have it again? Sachin-Jigar composed it, while the lyrics are written by Mayur Puri. The song is rendered by Vishal Dadlani, Anushka Manchanda and Madhav Krishna. Thus, we came up with an amazing song.”
He further adds, “Besides the number ‘Bezubaan’, a background score from the original has also been used and developed into a song.”
While the original song from ABCD didn’t have any star attraction, ‘Bezubaan Phir Se’ features Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor, who are the lead actors of ABCD 2, performing electrifying dance on stage. While Varun is quite known for his dancing, Shraddha truly comes as a surprise. “Yes, Shraddha Kapoor is a surprise package of the film,” Remo says.
But ask the choreographer-turned-filmmaker Remo how difficult it was to make Shraddha dance and he says, “It was easy to choreograph for Shraddha because she doesn’t come with a specific style of dancing. I mean, since she is not trained in any particular form of dancing, it was easy to provide her the moves and she easily adapted to it. It was fun working with her.”

After witnessing her acting and singing talent, quiz Remo if Shraddha will be hailed as the dancing queen post ABCD 2 and if it was a strategic move and he says, “Yes you can say so that she will be known as the dancing queen of Bollywood and she will surely nail it. She has done her best and you will get to see that. No it was not a strategic decision to present her that way. Having said that, she has already proved her mettle as an actor & singer, so it’s interesting to check out her dancing side as well now.”
“We wanted an actor and Shraddha was the apt choice. Shraddha is the only girl in the gang of 15 guys. So we wanted an actress who can be little tomboyish yet innocent, sweet. And Shraddha has all these qualities,” adds the filmmaker.
ABCD 2, which is a sequel to 2013 super-hit ABCD- Any Body Can Dance, will hit the silver screen on June 19, 2015.
