The release of Singham Again has sparked significant excitement among fans, especially with the surprise cameo of Salman Khan as Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg series. This crossover of iconic characters from Rohit Shetty’s cop universe thrilled audiences, as clips shared on X (formerly Twitter) captured fans erupting into cheers, calling out “Chulbul bhai” as he appeared on screen. Fans shared their excitement with posts labeling this return as the “biggest Diwali dhamaka,” with one fan noting that Salman’s entry turned the “theater into a stadium.”

Salman’s portrayal of Chulbul this time includes a rugged new look, featuring a beard alongside his signature moustache. Many fans celebrated this as the character’s “supreme form,” with posts flooded with “mass” and fire emojis, highlighting Salman’s superstar status.
Despite the positive response, not all reactions were favorable. Some fans expressed disappointment that Chulbul’s cameo was brief and appeared at the end of the film, suggesting it was a setup for a future movie, Mission Chulbul Singham. A few fans also felt let down by the lack of iconic background music and criticized the updated look, which they felt didn’t do justice to Chulbul’s original style.
Singham Again, as the fifth film in Shetty’s cop universe, marks a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014), with Ajay Devgn reprising his role as Bajirao Singham and Kareena Kapoor as Avni. Alongside familiar faces like Ranveer Singh as Simmba and Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi, new characters introduced include Deepika Padukone as Shakti Shetty, Tiger Shroff as Satya Bali, and Arjun Kapoor as Danger Lanka. Fans are now eagerly speculating about the direction of the next installment and how Salman Khan’s Chulbul Pandey will further integrate into Shetty’s cop universe.
