Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love & War has sparked excitement, among fans with its interpretation of a “triangular love story ” featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal alongside Alia Bhatt in roles.
The recent sighting of Ranbir and Vicky, at Bhansali’s Mumbai office wearing outfits alongside an Indian Air Force officer has stirred rumors that they could be preparing to portray Indian Air Force pilots on screen. New images emerging from an IAF facility, in Bikaner have sparked interest and speculation about the potential military setting, for this romantic storyline.

At thought to be influenced by Raj Kapoor’s 1964 masterpiece Sangam Bhansali refuted this notion during an interview by stating that Love & War is a tale set in times. With a fondness, for Bollywood films Bhansali emphasized his standpoint with the words; “There’s no need to recreate Sholay or Mother India.
Why would I then redo Sangam ?” This method signals a path, for the director as he moves away from his historical works to craft something unique in terms of mood and artistic approach.”I’m exploring a setting this time ” he described.” The soundtrack has a vibe. It’s territory, for me. I’m really embracing it.”
The movie Love & War is also set to feature some reunions that fans have been eagerly awaiting. Bhansali teams up, with Ranbir Kapoor after their collaboration in Saawariya reconnects with Alia following the success of Gangubai Kathiawadi and reunites Vicky and Alia again after their work together in Raazi.
