Salman Khan: No senseless, illogical action in EK THA TIGER

After doing back-to-back action-masala films like WANTED, DABANGG, BODYGUARD, Bollywood’s unbeatable and favourite, Salman Khan is gearing up for yet another out-an-out action flick, EK THA TIGER. However, Salman states that the kind of action EK THA TIGER has is way different than what he has been doing. It indeed required him to pull up his socks and raise the bar to match-up its level.

Salman says, “I have worked very hard for the action part of this film. The visual and choreography has come out really well. Unlike other action films, EK THA TIGER doesn’t have senseless, illogical action.”

Though EK THA TIGER is Salman Khan’s first venture with YRF (YashRaj Films), it wasn’t an all new environment for Salman. Salman’s father, Salim Khan has worked with the banner earlier. He has penned the films like TRISHUL (1978), KAALA PATHAR (1979) for YRF.

Says Salman, “It feels great working with YRF. Though this is my first film with the banner, I never felt new. It feels I have been working with them for ages. As my father, Salim Khan has worked with the banner earlier. So, I felt quite familiar with it.”

“Both my father and me has had great experience working the banner,” adds the actor.

Also starring Katrina Kaif, EK THA TIGER is directed by Kabir Khan, who earlier made films like KABUL EXPRESS and NEW YORK. The action-packed EK THA TIGER is set to release on 15th August 2012.
