Adding to the buzz, Deepika Padukone finalized her place in King, with Shah Rukh as her sixth co-star. In an emotional Instagram post with their clasped hands, Deepika remembered SRK’s first teaching to her in Om Shanti Om: that it is not how successful your filmmaking experience is, but rather the experience itself. She captioned it with “#King” and “#Day1,” marking the beginning of the shoot.
