A Die-Hard MI Fan Living Her Dream

A self-proclaimed “die-hard Mumbai Indians fan,” Sonal was ecstatic to witness Rohit Sharma returning to form live. “I’ve always said Rohit Sharma is one of a kind. The things he does on the field are just unmatched. Watching him bat is like watching art in motion so effortless and focused,” she gushed. She also praised his on-field camaraderie with Suryakumar Yadav, calling their synergy “magical” and “an absolute treat to watch.”

Objectification or Just Natural Attention?

Amid ongoing discussions about how the IPL cameras often linger on female spectators, Sonal seemed unfazed. When asked about the objectification angle, she brushed it off, saying, “I don’t think it’s about the cameramen. IPL is something families watch together across the country. I think it’s more about what naturally catches the audience’s attention.”

From Jannat to the Cricket Stands

Sonal’s surprise stadium appearance also sparked a wave of nostalgia among fans who fondly remembered her Bollywood debut in Jannat, which itself had a cricket backdrop. One user commented, “Wow looking so good, Jannat star,” while another wrote, “From Jannat to the stands – she still knows how to steal the spotlight.”

Whether it’s on screen or in the stands, Sonal Chauhan clearly knows how to capture hearts without even trying.
