Bollywood actress Sridevi, who created a rage when she jigged on the song 'Hawaa Hawaai' in MR. INDIA, now launched the trailer of Amole Gupte's upcoming film, which is touted to be the first-ever film based on inland skating, with the same name.
While unveiling the trailer at the event, the original 'Hawaa Hawaai' girl, Sridevi said, ''Everyone associates 'Hawaa Hawaai' with MR. INDIA but it has got a new meaning today.
I have always loved Amole Gupteji's films. Be it TAARE ZAMEEN PAR or STANLEY KA DABBA, it has touched the emotional chord and we are all here to experience his new film HAWAA HAWAAI.''
''I have seen the trailer and really liked it for its simplicity and powerful emotions. I am sure you will love it,'' she added further.
Also present at the event were director Amole Gupte, actors Partho Gupte (Amole's son), Saqib Saleem and Fox Star Studios' CEO Vijay Singh.
HAWAA HAWAAI is all set to release on May 9, 2014.
