Tamannaah Bhatia is set to star opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the upcoming folk thriller Vvan – Force of the Forest. On Wednesday, the makers unveiled a new teaser introducing Tamannaah’s character, adding to the buzz around this mystical drama.
Though Tamannaah’s face isn’t revealed in the teaser, she is seen running barefoot through a dense forest in a red saree, evoking intrigue and mysticism. The teaser also shows her lighting a traditional lamp and pausing near a sign that warns: “Warning: Entering the forest after sunset isn’t allowed,” setting an eerie and suspenseful tone.
Sharing the teaser on social media, Balaji Motion Pictures wrote, “Rooted in Indian mythology and mysticism, Vvan – Force of the Forest unfolds a tale straight from the pages of history and folklore. Delighted to welcome @tamannaahspeaks to this powerful narrative — a force in her own right, ready to command the screen like never before.”

This marks Tamannaah and Sidharth’s first on-screen collaboration, sparking excitement among fans eager to witness their fresh pairing. The film will be co-directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, known for Panchayat, and Arunabh Kumar, founder of TVF. Shooting is scheduled to begin in June 2025, with a theatrical release planned for 2026.
