The incident occurred when Musk posted a Jonas Brothers meme in response to a Tesla Owners Silicon Valley post claiming the company’s profits have increased since Donald Trump was re-elected. The meme showed Nick and Kevin Jonas rotating a table when Joe Jonas entered, with Musk writing, “My, how the tables have turned.”
Nick Jonas responded with an image of Musk pointing his finger and wrote, “Take us to the year 3000,” that quickly gained popularity with a view count of 27.1 million. This, however, led to flak from the fans on his Twitter, as they saw this as promoting Musk because of the political undertone of the post. Fans were not pleased with him. Some even accused him of promoting Trump or Musk’s political opinions. Comments like “is this a Trump post?! is this a trump post??!!” and “Priyanka, get your man under control PLEASE” captured the backlash.

Nick Jonas responded with a Christmas picture with his wife Priyanka Chopra, hoping the conversation would shift. But again, the criticism didn’t let up, with a flurry of comments asking Priyanka to step in. Drama occurred just after the couple returned from the Red Sea Film Festival and started their Christmas celebrations, sharing images of their family, daughter Malti Marie included, playing with a cricket bat.
