Earlier in July Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain announced an international thriller said to be a biographical drama of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. To lead the project 12th Fail actor Vikrant Massey is in advance talks with the makers to portray the spiritual leader and humanitarian Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. The actor is very positive and excited about this opportunity.

Vikrant Massey is a talented Indian actor known for his versatile performances in films like 12th Fail, Haseen Dilruba, and Sector 36. His ability to bring depth and authenticity to diverse characters makes him one of the most promising actors to play Sri Sri Ravi Shankar in his biographical film.

As per reports, a source close to the development revealed, “Vikrant Massey is one of the most versatile actors of today’s times, and the makers felt that he’d be ideal to play the main lead. Vikrant, too, was very excited when he was offered the part and was thankful that he was considered for it. Talks between the actor and the makers are in advanced stages.”

The source further added, “The film will be made in English and Spanish and is meant for a global audience; it will be dubbed in various international and Indian languages. It focuses on how one of the biggest internal conflicts in the world was resolved by Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar using ancient Indian wisdom. The supporting cast and crew will mainly comprise acclaimed and Academy Award-winning talent from Los Angeles, USA, and Colombia. Additionally, renowned filmmakers will present this big-budget, ambitious film in different countries.”
The film drawing inspiration from Sri Sri Ravi Shankar’s life and principles seeks to encapsulate the spirit of harmony and peaceful resistance. Following the World Cultural Festival in Washington DC, a landmark event uniting millions from more than 180 countries, the film underscores the Indian philosophy of “One World One Family.”

The yet-untilted film will be jointly produced by Siddharth Anand and Mahaveer Jain. While the director has not been revealed it will be written by Montoo Bassi. After Vikrant Massey’s stellar performance in previous projects, it will be exciting to his role in portraying the spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar.
