By Any Means Trailer Reveals A Dangerous FBI Mission In 1960s Mississippi

Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for By Any Means, a true story inspired crime thriller about an FBI agent investigating killings in 1960s Mississippi.

Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for “By Any Means,” an upcoming crime thriller directed by Elegance Bratton. The film is inspired by a true story and takes viewers back to 1960s Mississippi, a period marked by racial tension and violence during the civil rights movement.

The story follows a young Black FBI agent, played by Yahya Abdul Mateen II, who is sent to Mississippi to investigate a series of brutal killings targeting civil rights leaders. His investigation places him in a dangerous situation as he tries to understand who is behind the attacks and why they are taking place.

During the investigation, the FBI agent is forced to work with Greg Scarpa, a notorious mafia hitman played by Mark Wahlberg. The unlikely partnership brings together two men from very different worlds. As they continue their search, the line between following the law and seeking personal revenge becomes increasingly unclear.

The trailer presents the central conflict of the film through the line, “When the system is broken, two men divided by everything agree on one thing: the law has limits. They don’t.” The statement reflects the difficult choices faced by the two central characters as they attempt to deal with a violent situation.

Nicole Beharie, Josh Lucas, LisaGay Hamilton, LaChanze and Ethan Embry also feature in the cast. David Strathairn and Giancarlo Esposito are also part of the film.

Sascha Penn has written the screenplay. The film is produced by Alex Lebovici, Chester Algernal Gordon, Elegance Bratton, Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson.

“By Any Means” is set against the backdrop of one of the most difficult periods in American history. By combining an FBI investigation with the story of an unusual partnership, the film explores questions surrounding justice, violence and the limits of the legal system.

The final trailer gives viewers a look at the dangerous investigation and the growing tension between the characters. “By Any Means” is scheduled to release in cinemas on September 4th.
