Actor Emma Watson has sparked fresh relationship speculation after she was photographed sharing a kiss with Mexican entrepreneur Gonzalo Hevia Baillères at an airport. The photos, taken on Wednesday, March 4, quickly circulated online and caught the attention of fans eager to learn more about the possible new couple.
In the images, Watson, 35, appears relaxed and affectionate with Baillères as the two greet each other before reportedly heading out together. Shortly after the airport sighting, the pair were seen grabbing drinks, suggesting they were spending the day together. Later that evening, additional photos showed them enjoying dinner at an upscale restaurant, further fueling speculation about their relationship.
Although neither Watson nor Baillères has publicly commented on the nature of their relationship, reports suggest the two may have been spending time together for several months. According to the Mexican publication Quién, Watson and Baillères were first spotted together in late 2025 while visiting the luxury ski resort of Courchevel in the French Alps.
They were later seen together again in Punta Mita, a picturesque peninsula located roughly 10 miles north of Puerto Vallarta on Mexico’s Pacific coast. Known for its scenic beaches and luxury resorts, Punta Mita is a popular destination for celebrities and high-profile travelers.
Baillères comes from one of Mexico’s most prominent business families. He is associated with Grupo Bal, a major conglomerate founded by his grandfather Alberto Baillères. The business empire spans multiple industries, including mining, finance, insurance and retail.
Among the companies linked to the group is the luxury department store chain El Palacio de Hierro, which operates high-end retail locations throughout Mexico. The Baillères family has long been regarded as one of the country’s most influential business dynasties.
Baillères also has an international educational background. He attended the prestigious Swiss boarding school Institut Le Rosey before continuing his studies at Ransom Everglades School in Miami. He later returned to Mexico, where he studied at Colegio Vista Hermosa and Cumbres International School.
He eventually graduated with a degree in economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM). Today, Baillères is reportedly the CEO of Lok, a company focused on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
Before the recent sightings with Watson, Baillères was previously linked to Mexican pop star and actor Belinda. The two were reportedly in a relationship from 2022 to 2024.
Belinda later released a song titled Heterochromia in 2025, which sparked speculation among fans that the lyrics referenced Baillères. The song’s title refers to a condition in which a person has two different colored eyes — something Baillères is known to have.
