Celebrity socialite Paris Hilton, 43, visited the site of her sea-facing Malibu home as the devastating Los Angeles wildfires charred the surroundings and fully engulfed it in flames. Sharing a video on her social media handle, the 43-year-old expressed her grief upon the loss of the favorite setting through which she stood amidst the debris of her cropped house.
In a heart-wrenching Instagram post, Hilton wrote, “I’m standing here in what used to be our home, and this heartbreak is truly indescribable. When I first heard on the news of what was going on with our house, I was literally, just, like, in complete shock—I was not able to process it. Now, standing right here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart is shattered into a million pieces.

While reminiscing about memories tied to the house, Hilton said the house was more than just a residence. It was a house full of dreams, laughter, love, and unique family experiences: priceless mementos and artworks made by her son Phoenix. “It wasn’t just a house; it was where dreams were built, laughter found a home, and memories we would cherish forever as a family were made,” she said.
Despite everything catastrophic, Hilton took a moment to say she thanked God for the survival of her family, pets, and kids. She also thanked the firemen and the “real heroes,” first responders, and expressed her sympathies to the thousands who have gone through such a tragedy.
This is also a moment to keep close relations with those you love. Life can change in seconds; love, that is what matters-and I’m sending all my love to all hurting tonight.
The wildfires in Los Angeles displaced nearly 180,000 residents; other celebrities, including Billy Crystal and Jeff Bridges, also lost their homes in the fires as they raged on.
