Some on-screen reunions instantly capture fans attention, and this is certainly one of them. Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley, who won hearts as Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore of the supernatural show The Vampire Diaries, are reuniting for Hulu’s upcoming thriller series You Deserve To Know. The announcement has sparked excitement among the fans. This will be their first scripted collaboration since TVD concluded in 2017.
Based on Aggie Blum Thompson’s novel, You Deserve to know is currently under development. The suspense filled drama follows three suburban couples, who live next door to each other and share everything. Their picture-perfect lives are shattered when one of the husbands is murdered. As the investigation progresses, secrets are revealed, friendships are tested, and old betrayals come to light, adding more suspense to the story.
Dobrev has been cast as Gwen, while Wesley will portray Scott. Their characters find themselves on opposite sides of the murder investigation, placing them at the center of the story’s escalating conflict. Beyond starring in the series, both actors will also serve as executive producers.
While the release date and information about additional cast members is yet to be announced, the project has already generated considerable excitement thanks to the reunion of two of television’s most recognizable stars. With anticipation continuing to build, You Deserve To Know is already emerging as one of Hulu’s most talked about upcoming projects.
