Rapper Kanye West reportedly celebrated his 49th birthday with a grand masquerade themed party at the historic Château de Versailles in France. According to reports, the celebration, which took place over the weekend, cost nearly $400,000. Kanye and his wife, Bianca Censori, were joined by more than 20 close friends for the event before continuing the celebrations at the nearby Airelles luxury hotel.
For the special occasion, Kanye chose an all black outfit that matched the masquerade theme. He wore a black jacket, leather pants, boots, leather gloves, and covered his face with a black mask. His look followed the mysterious dress code that was seen throughout the party.
Bianca Censori also embraced the theme with a striking outfit. She wore a cream coloured satin corseted bodysuit paired with a matching skirt that featured structured detailing underneath. She completed her look with satin wedge heels and covered her face with a feathered headpiece instead of a traditional masquerade mask. Many of the guests also followed the theme by wearing elaborate costumes and face coverings, while some chose animal masks instead of classic masquerade masks.
The birthday celebration came just days after Bianca shared a heartfelt message for Kanye on social media to mark his birthday on June 8. Along with photos and a video of Kanye singing with a friend, she wrote, “Happy birthday @ye. I Iove you more than life.” In another post, she described him as her “ride or die 4ever.”

Before the party in France, the couple also celebrated Kanye’s birthday weekend with a visit to the Ciel Bleu French restaurant in Amsterdam. They were photographed together while leaving the restaurant and appeared to be enjoying the celebration in a relaxed setting before heading to France for the larger event.
Kanye West and Bianca Censori secretly got married in December 2022, shortly after Kanye finalised his divorce from Kim Kardashian. Kanye and Kim had separated in 2021 after seven years of marriage. Despite their divorce, they continue to co parent their four children, North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.
